The RV dump station at RD requires backing in. The gate was unlocked on May 22, 2008. If the gate is locked, you can ask the attendant for the key. After around 7 PM, the gate was locked in April 2009. The roads leading to the dump station are winding and have a lot of ups and downs. The design of the dump station itself is poor for RVs. There have been reports of GPS units not selecting the correct roads to get to this location. Unfortunately, there is no water available at the dump station. To get to the dump station, you need to go south of downtown on NM-90 for two miles. Then, turn left (south) onto South Ridge Road. Continue south on Ridge Road for 1.4 miles. After that, go east on Lance Drive for 2.9 miles. Finally, follow the signs to the Water Treatment Plant. As of June 6, 2015, the signs were
