About
For vans, I suggest walking and checking the available space for a needed u-turn. The approximate distance is 2 km from the Tourist Information Centre. There is water available next to the Colonial Inn Motel at 519 Armidale Rd, Tamworth 2340. There is also a small block of public toilets nearby, with a sign indicating it is a Sewerage Dump Point. After passing the toilets, there is a small length of road where a u-turn is necessary to be able to get out. However, if cars are parked in that area, it may not be possible to do the u-turn.
