About
Craters of the Moon RV Park — Arco, Idaho Craters of the Moon RV Park sits in Arco, Idaho, at the southeastern end of the Lost River Range — the range that rises to Borah Peak, Idaho's highest summit at 12,662 feet. Wide valley views, open sky, and long sunrises and sunsets come standard. The park is about 18 miles from the entrance to Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve — roughly a 20-minute drive to its lava flows, cinder cones, and lava-tube caves. The surrounding Lost River country adds mountain lakes, hot springs, and backcountry roads where deer, pronghorn, elk, and moose are regular sights. Riders have room to roam. Arco's city ordinance allows properly registered ATVs and UTVs on local streets to reach off-highway areas, so you can head out from camp and connect to the trail systems across Butte County and the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Back at camp: a swimming pool, fenced dog park, tree-shaded grounds, Wi-Fi, hot showers, laundry, a camp store and gift shop, a playground, and a dump station. Choose pull-thru or back-in RV sites with 30- and 50-amp hookups, camping cabins, teepees, or tent sites. Book your stay and make Arco your base for Idaho's high desert and high peaks.
