About
The city campground is the most convenient in the area and is the closest campground to the ferry. It is favored by RV folks who wait to catch the ferries, so it is recommended to make reservations well in advance as the campground fills up fast. The campground offers potable water and rinse water (non-potable) for RVs. The location is on the opposite side of town from the Hwy. 16 entrance. To get there, you need to proceed through town on Hwy. 16 for approximately 2 km, then turn left on Park Avenue and continue for another 2 km (passing Tim Hortons on the right). After that, you need to make a half left turn at a stop sign and continue for 500 meters to find the campgrounds on the right side. If you continue on, you will enter the ferry area.
