There is a fairly tight loop off the roadway, so big rigs need to be careful. Potable water and rinse water (non-potable) are available. To get there, go north from Leadville for about 3 miles on Hwy. 24, then turn left onto CR-99 and right onto CR-9 at the paved winter parking area.
