Water is available at the end of unpaved Hurricane Lake North Campground Road. It can be accessed from a variety of paved roads from State Route 189 and State Route 4. The location is well marked by the Florida Forest Service. Once you are off Kennedy Bridge Road or Hurricane Lake Road, you will encounter several miles of unpaved gravel/clay roads.
